Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties opens Thursday

Nazareth’s Theatre and Dance Department presents Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties, written by Jen Silverman and directed by Cara Hinh. This comedic, absurd, stylized, queer-centric play takes the stage in the Nazareth Arts Center’s Callahan Theater on Thursday, February 16; Friday, February 17; and Saturday, February 18, at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, February 18, and Sunday, February 19, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 each, and $10 each for senior citizens. Buy tickets: Nazareth Arts Center Box Office. An opening night reception is in the lobby of Callahan Theater from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Iconic Limón Dance Company returns to Nazareth and hosts masterclasses for students and public

Acclaimed for its exquisite choreography and dramatic expression, technical brilliance, and expansive, yet nuanced humanity, the iconic Limón Dance Company returns to Nazareth in January. The company will be in residence on January 20 and 21, offering open rehearsal for Nazareth students and a master class and lecture/demonstration open to the public. The company then takes the stage at the Nazareth Arts Center's Callahan Theater on Saturday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. as Nazareth College's Visual and Performing Arts' 2022/2023 Changemakers Series presents An Evening with the Limón Dance Company, in a program that includes choreography by company founder Jose Limón and co-founder Doris Humphrey.
