Nazareth Welcomes Class of 2023 with Day of Service

Nazareth College welcomes the Class of 2023 and all its students back for the new year.The new Class of '23 is comprised of 530 students and is one of the College’s strongest academically, most geographic, and culturally diverse classes. This year’s class has 30 states represented, including California, Florida, Texas, and Washington, and some students are coming from international locales like Saudi Arabia, Canada, and China. The first year students, along with 120 transfer students, spend the weekend participating in a whirlwind of activities, including New Student Convocation and the annual Orientation Day of Service on Friday, August 23.

Nazareth College and The Community Place Host Students from Leeds, England

Nazareth College and The Community Place of Greater Rochester (CPGR) host a student delegation of international community development volunteers from their partner institution in England, Leeds Beckett University.  From July 20-August 3, students participate in a two-week long community development project with the CPGR.

Nazareth Students Earn National Music Education Award of Excellence

The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Collegiate Advisory Council awarded a national Chapter of Excellence Award to Nazareth College’s music education chapter. NAfME is among the world’s largest arts education organizations. The 2019 Collegiate Advocacy Summit was June 17-19, 2019 in Washington, D.C.
