Workshops and Trainings

Building a Trusting Community

This workshop focuses on how we can create a more inclusive climate through specific sessions that aim to build trust and mutual respect within our campus community.

Naz Student2Student: Influencing Campus Culture and Climate

Through our partnership and collaboration with the YWCA of Rochester, we bring to you our very own version of the YWCA Person2Person program, called "Naz Student2Student." The first two cohorts will run for three months each.

This unique program offers our students the opportunity to connect with each other on a deeper level. To participate, please visit our forms page and sign up.

Safe Zone

Provides several levels of training to raise awareness about the LGBTQ+ community and educate our campus about ways in which we can all participate in ensuring that all of our students, faculty, and staff feel a sense of belonging on campus.

Cultural Awareness Training/Workshop

Addresses the sensitivities around culture, heritage, ethnicity, and nationality.

Implicit Bias Workshop

Brings to light the unconscious stereotypes we all have towards people others and how to educate ourselves on changing our thought process to being more accepting and inclusive.
