The Office for Diversity & Inclusive Excellence Education works to promote and support activities and events which celebrate and advocate diversity, inclusion, equity, as well as a sense of belonging at the College and throughout the local Rochester community. This is done through the enhancement of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging-related educational opportunities and experiences to ensure that Nazareth students, faculty, and staff possess the knowledge and skills necessary for living and advocating toward working effectively as members of a global, interconnected society.
Located in Shults, the Atlas Center provides a safe place for LGBTQ+ students and provides resources to all community members to educate and better understand the diverse sexual and gender identities and experiences that exist at Nazareth College.
We offer a safe space for a deeper conversation about challenging contemporary topics relating to race, ethnicity, gender, privilege, equity, and social justice and how they affect us on a local and national level.
We facilitate professional learning opportunities for students, faculty, staff.
