Nazareth student Lan Nguyen '21, a biomedical sciences major, spent her summer at Duke University Cancer Institute, doing research with Nazareth alumnus Jason Somarelli '02, Ph.D.

Nguyen studied marine mammals to discover new therapies for overcoming hypoxia.
