Gratitude from Darrell Bell

Dear alumni and friends,

The 2021-2022 academic year at Nazareth was a time of emergence from the illness and isolation brought on by the worst days of the coronavirus pandemic. Hallways and campus sidewalks were bustling again; classrooms, labs, and studios were full; and the spring semester saw the return of safe international travel, providing students with long-missed study, research, and internship opportunities.

Your support made Nazareth’s emergence even brighter by supplying critical funds for the academic, athletic, and experiential programs of excellence for which Naz is known. Your gifts were a vote of confidence for the College, reassuring us that we continue to be on the right path blazed by our founders nearly a century ago. And most importantly, your generosity gave Nazareth students valuable opportunities and experiences they’ll remember and treasure for a lifetime.

To celebrate this emergence and begin a new fall tradition, we’re launching our first-ever Naz Weekend: a big party for everyone in the Nazareth family, including generous supporters like you. I invite you to come join us on October 21-23 for a variety of events designed to entertain, educate, and celebrate all who make up our Nazareth community. You’ll also have the chance to see firsthand some of the many ways your gifts are working hard for our students.

As we look back on the past year to share these highlights, we also look ahead with eager anticipation to Nazareth’s centennial in 2024. We can’t wait to celebrate Nazareth’s first hundred years and look ahead with you to the next hundred.

I hope you enjoy reading this donor impact report and will feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for emerging with us this year and for the many ways you support our students and the entire Nazareth community.

With gratitude,

Darrell Bell
