Scholarships & Grants
- Federal TEACH Grant - Grants of up to $2,000 per semester to academically qualified students who intend to teach a high-need subject in an elementary school or secondary school or educational service agency that serves students from low-income families. Nazareth's program list and information.
- TOC II scholarship for teacher candidates from underrepresented populations covers up to a third of tuition and helps with the cost of required teacher certification exams.
- Graduate assistantship: can cover 1.5 to 4.5 credits per semester
- Clinical assistantship: covers up to a third of tuition
- Veteran/military benefits may cover some or all of this degree for you or your spouse or dependent.
- Dave Vigren Scholarship - Awarded to a teacher candidate who has financial need and is interested in working with children/learners from challenging backgrounds, interested in urban education, who is in good academic standing, and who exhibits strong professional behaviors.
