2026 Uniting Education & Action NYSACAC Nazareth University
A message from Haniya Mee, NYSACAC President-Elect

We are thrilled to welcome you to the beautiful campus of Nazareth University in the vibrant city of Rochester, New York, during the first week of June.

Conference week begins with the Coming Together Conference on June 2–3, followed by the Annual Conference from June 3–5. Together, these events bring practitioners from across the state to connect, engage in meaningful dialogue, reflect on the impact of their work, and imagine what’s possible when we collaborate.

This year’s Annual Conference theme, “Uniting Education and Action,” calls us to bridge knowledge, research, and learning with purposeful action. Through dynamic conference sessions, inspiring keynote speakers, and intentional networking opportunities, participants will explore how ideas become impactful.

The Coming Together Conference theme, “Advancing Action through Advocacy ,” challenges us to go further, beyond conversation and into practice. It is a call to roll up our sleeves, commit to the work, and take concrete steps toward the change we want to see in our communities.

Join us in Rochester, the Flower City, where the city’s famous flowers will be in full bloom as we gather in June. Known for its diverse restaurants, local breweries, and beloved grocery store, Rochester is also home to more than 20 institutions of higher education, several minor league sports teams, and a number of innovative companies driving success across the region.

Nazareth University has partnered with Visit Rochester to ensure your experience extends beyond campus. You will leave not only inspired by the conference, but also with a lasting appreciation for the city that hosts us.
