Prompt engineering involves refining interactions with generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems, such as ChatGPT, to produce responses. Learning how to prompt effectively with the right question or command will yield the most accurate answer.

Upon successful completion of the course requirements, you will receive an email with a PDF attachment of your Nazareth University Certified Prompt Engineering: Foundations Certificate of Course Completion.

Select Certified Prompt Engineer: Foundations course by clicking on the arrow in the bottom right of the program description on the main Nazareth course selection page. Next, select the Enroll Now button to proceed to Checkout. You will be prompted to create an account. If you have received a discount or promotion code, be sure to enter it and click on the Apply button on the Checkout page before proceeding to Pay and Enroll.

The course is designed to be completed in 4-6 dedicated hours of instruction and exercises. As the course is self-paced, you may choose to complete the requirements in one sitting or gradually over multiple sessions. The Canvas learning management system (LMS) is set up to pick up where you left off, at any point in the course modules.

For the course to be considered complete, you must finish ALL course requirements, quizzes, and exams, to a minimum 80% score. You will have the opportunity to retake each exam should you need extra attempts to reach the passing score.

You will have the opportunity to retake the final exam as many times as needed to reach the 80% passing threshold.

In the Course Wrap Up section, you will receive a congratulatory message upon successful completion of course requirements. The section also includes a course evaluation survey for your feedback (much appreciated). You will also receive an email with a PDF attachment of your certificate of completion.

To check individual assignment grades, click on the ‘Grades’ section in the left-hand navigation to view each course requirement. Ensure that your score in each section is at least 80%.

Upon successful completion, a PDF of your certificate of completion will be sent to the email address you used to register for the course. You may also log in and return to your course enrollment dashboard page to access your completed certificate at a later date.
