Different courses have different completion times. Each module has the time listed within the course.
Exploring Autism and Public History (full certificate programs) are scheduled for 6 weeks, with deadlines to keep the learner on track. Each week has anywhere from 3-7 hours of work.
Certified Prompt Engineer: Foundations will take 2-4 hours to complete the entire course.
All Project RISE courses take 1-2 hours to complete.
Nazareth's learning management system on learners.naz.edu is set up to pick up where you left off at any point in the course modules.
All Nazareth online learning courses at learners.naz.edu are asynchronous and fully online.
Exploring Autism, Public History, and all Project RISE courses have a dedicated facilitator whom you can contact throughout the course.
For the course to be considered complete, you must finish ALL course requirements, quizzes, and exams, to a minimum 80% score, or marked as acceptable by the facilitator.
You have the opportunity to resubmit each assessment if you need extra attempts to reach the passing score.
To check individual assignment grades, click on the ‘Grades’ section in the left-hand navigation to view each course requirement. Ensure that your score in each section is at least 80% or the designated passing grade.
Upon successful completion, a PDF of your certificate of completion will be sent to the email address you used to register for the course. You may also log in and return to your course enrollment dashboard page to access your completed certificate at a later date.
No. The online learning courses offered on learners.naz.edu are not credit-bearing. Successful completion of a course will result in a non-credit Certificate of Completion from Nazareth University.
You may log in and return to your course enrollment dashboard page to access your completed certificate at a later date. Learners in Public History and Exploring Autism have until one month after the conclusion of the program to retrieve their certificates.
You may print your digital certificate on your local printer. Nazareth University does not offer a print service for your certificate at this time.

Project RISE offers continuing education courses designed for early childhood professionals. If you practice within Monroe County, you may be eligible to take these courses for free. Please visit the Project RISE website for more information.

All other courses do not offer credit hours at this time.

When you successfully enroll in an online learning course on learners.naz.edu, you will receive a confirmation email from Nazareth's online learning catalog (notifications@instructure.com). The confirmation email serves as your receipt.
