THEIR LIFE'S WORK
Danielle Abramson '08 (sociology major with minors in anthropology & philosophy) is director of leadership giving at WXXI in Rochester, N.Y. In July 2021, she succeeded Jenny Giessler '95 to lead Nazareth’s alumni board; She has been a member of the alumni advisory board since February 2018.
To help the alumni board serve as a platform for all Nazareth College alumni to have their voices heard, and to have an opportunity to impact the experiences and connections of past, current, and future Naz alums.
Lady Mary from Downton Abbey and Ramona Quimby.
What Kind of Woman by Kate Baer, Untamed by Glennon Doyle, and Consider the Fork by Bee Wilson.
French press coffee whenever possible. And spending too much money on hair care/products.
My 15-year-old kitty, Kit-ten (I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old).
Kitty Kiss Face and Kitty Heart Eyes (see a theme?)
Emma Roberts, hopefully.
Getting to share my passion for public media and connecting other people’s passion for the work we do to advance our mission to serve the community.
Eleanor Roosevelt, Phillis Wheatley, and Alexander Hamilton. Three revolutionary, status-quo-challenging thinkers who would all likely be competing for a turn to talk would make for a very philosophical and lively but substantive discussion!
I try to embody the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “Not everybody can be famous but everybody can be great because greatness is determined by service. You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love.”
