The Mary Soons McCarty Greenhouse and Greenhouse Gardens are run by the Biology Department, servicing classes, research, and community events. Our greenhouse was constructed in 2012 as part of Peckham Hall.
Have a sick plant or old pots that you don't want anymore? Bring them to us and we will give you raffle tickets for a prize to be drawn at the end of each semester. Contact the Greenhouse Manager, Dr. Patrick Garrett, to drop off the plants/pots and receive your tickets.
Rent some from us! We have glass terrariums, centerpieces, potted plants, and large wheeled planter boxes available. (No cut flowers.)
Small plant giveaways can also be coordinated with enough advanced notice.
Please use this form to submit your request.
Want to have an event partnership with the greenhouse or get a job caring for the plants? Contact the Greenhouse Manager, Dr. Patrick Garrett, to find out more.
