Jennifer Fay



Dr. Jennifer Fay received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. She earned her Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College. Her dissertation work focused on the influence of educational experiences on physical therapy students’ interprofessional competency. She has practiced physical therapy in the Rochester area for over 20 years, in both clinical and supervisory roles.  Her areas of practice have included acute care, neurological rehabilitation and pediatrics. She continues to practice physical therapy on a part-time basis, working with children and adults in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.  Dr. Fay is credentialed as a clinical instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she serves as the director of Nazareth’s on-campus pro bono PT clinics, which serve our campus, as well as the greater Rochester community.  Her research interests include balance and fall prevention, as well as student, therapist, and client experiences of interprofessional education and collaboration. Dr. Fay has presented her research at national conferences, including the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting.
