Articulating Craft

January 25, 2019 –
March 1, 2019

Articulating Craft is an exhibition that reflects the evolving dialogue of artists’ interpretations of what contemporary craft looks like today, and what it holds for the future. Rather than limiting artists to a narrow theme or restricting works by defining what contemporary craft is or should be, this exhibition will feature work that reflects the craft tradition but which is not afraid to push boundaries by being inventive in process, technique, and material. By "Articulating Craft" this exhibition will feature works across various media to showcase what this new generation of makers is doing with their work. Whether functional or sculptural, this exhibition will create a space for advancing the public's awareness and appreciation of this diverse and expanding movement. Free and open to the public.
