Excel Program

What is Excel?

The Excel program began in 1996 at Nazareth College as a student support services program for underrepresented students. By identifying and recruiting qualified New York and out-of-state residents, the Excel program aims to facilitate access and success to students enrolled in the following schools:

Admission to Excel

Complete the regular college application for admission. If you meet the criteria for Excel, you will automatically be considered for the program. Also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by Feb. 1.

Click for more about the Nazareth College admissions process.

Financial Aid

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by Feb. 1. The FAFSA code for the college is 002779.

Excel students receive a financial aid package based on their expected family contribution (as defined by federal financial aid formulas) and the cost of attendance at Nazareth College. Nazareth College may provide supplemental financial assistance to eligible Excel students. For these programs to best meet your family's needs, we encourage early completion of the financial aid process.
