2023 Highlights

Marlee Matlin

Our Keynote Speaker

"Silence is the last thing the world will ever, ever hear from me," Marlee Matlin said, calling herself "strong, determined, and louder than ever." The award-winning actress, renowned advocate for diversity, and author of four books has championed closed captioning, access, and belonging.

She encouraged everyone to be loud about racism, ageism, sexism, lack of inclusivity, and other limits, for the benefit of everyone: "Take the time to reach out and remove the barriers."
