Friday, September 18
8 a.m. Naz Athletics Golf Classic
7 a.m., Registration and Range Open
8 a.m., Tee Off
Cobblestone Creek Country Club
Join Nazareth Athletics for a day on the course during its 23rd annual Naz Classic. Single golfer, foursomes, and sponsorships available. Lunch will be provided on the course, with a happy hour to follow the tournament. For more information about the Golf Classic and to register, visit our website.
$200 per golfer, $800 for foursome, and additional sponsorship opportunities. Registration is required.
1:30 p.m. Jumu'ah Salah
Sulam Center, George Hall
Jumma Mubarak! All are invited to pray Jumu'ah Salah with the Nazareth Muslim Student Association in the Sulam Center, located in George Hall across from Colie's Cafe. Everyone is welcome to observe the prayer.
2 - 4 p.m. Golf Cart Campus Tours
Departs from Golisano Academic Center
Take a tour of campus to see all that Naz has to offer. Tours include Nazareth’s residence halls, Golisano Academic Center, Peckham Hall, the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute, the Jane and Laurence Glazer Music Performance Center, the Golisano Training Center, and newly renovated Smyth Hall.

Sign your name to the mural commemorating the 5th Naz Weekend and take part in Naz history!
5 p.m. Welcome Shabbat
Sulam Center, George Hall
Join Nazareth Hillel to welcome Shabbat and celebrate the beginning of this exciting weekend. We'll share the traditional Shabbat rituals of candles, grape juice, and challah, and take a moment to be grateful for this chance to come together and celebrate Jewish life and community at Naz.
This is free and open to all attendees.
5 - 6:30 p.m. Bingo for Naz Swag!
The Forum, Otto A. Shults Center
Play Bingo with Student Engagement and win some awesome Naz swag to wear throughout the weekend. Everyone welcome!
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. SBL Social Hour
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Atrium, Peckham Hall
School of Business and Leadership alumni and donors are invited to a social hour with President Finney and the newest associate dean, Albert Orbinati. There will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Registrants will receive one drink ticket.

6 p.m. Alla Boara Concert
Forum, Otto A. Shults Center
Enjoy the music of the Alla Boara, an Italian Folk Band. There will be a reception after the performance at the Casa Italiana.
6 - 9 p.m. The Purple Party
Front Lawn, Golisano Academic Center
Dance the night away with friends and family at the official Naz Weekend kick-off party. Join us for a buffet dinner and tunes from all decades. Cash bar available. Don't forget to wear your purple!
This event is $25 and includes dinner; registration is required.
6 p.m. Naz Swimming & Diving Purple & Gold Meet
Natatorium and Swimming/Diving Lounge
Nazareth Swimming and Diving alumni are invited to compete against current athletes and fellow alumni in the Purple & Gold meet, with a gathering to follow.
6 p.m. Naz Women's Volleyball vs. Alfred State

7:15 p.m. Casa Italiana Reception

7:30 p.m. Haunted History Walking Tours
Departing from Linehan Chapel
See the spooky side of Nazareth! Hear about the myths, legends, and interesting phenomena experienced over the years. Please note, this is a walking tour with many flights of stairs (there is no elevator access to many areas that will be explored).
This event is free. Registration is required to book your time slot. There are several time blocks to choose from; you will be assigned a start time within your selected block.
7:30 p.m. Page-to-Stage - Wild Heart
Masters Family Community Theater | Nazareth Arts Center, A13
Don't miss Nazareth's page-to-stage production of Wild Heart! Enjoy the story of Joan of Arc told through pop anthems from artists such as P!nk and Kelly Clarkson.
From her small town to the intricacies of French court to the fields of battle, Joan led the charge to end a war that started before she was born and overthrow the greatest military power in the world—THAT is punk rock!
This event is first come; first serve.
7:30 p.m. Global Dance for All
Group Fitness Room, Otto A. Shults Center
Join the French House for this week's session of "Global Dance for All," an ongoing volunteer workshops led by Alene and Charles Boyar and Sarada George. These are vibrant dance sessions filled with teaching that celebrate traditional dances from France and beyond. This cultural event celebrates diversity, fosters intercultural understanding, and builds community through the universal language of dance. Families with children and youth are welcome - Minors need to be accompanied by a parent!
No prior experience or partner needed!

Join us for a special admissions information session and campus tour to give your student an unforgettable glimpse into the educational excellence and vibrant community we offer at Nazareth University.
10:15 a.m. Women's Basketball Alumni Game
Kidera Gym, Otto A. Shults Center
Women's basketball alumni will gather for a game in the Kidera Gym at 10:15 a.m. for an alumni Purple v. Gold match. Then, family and alumni from the men's and women's teams will gather for a picnic. Alumni participation is $25 and includes a shirt and meal!

11 a.m. Legacy Pinning Ceremony

Be part of a tradition that celebrates the ties that unite your family to ours. We want to recognize our legacy families for continuing the Nazareth tradition. This event is intended for current students and their relatives who graduated from or currently attend Nazareth.

Lax alumni are invited to play with current students for this Lacrosse game.
11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Men's Basketball Celebrations
Kidera Gym, Otto A. Shults Center
Men's basketball alumni will gather for a game in the Kidera Gym at noon for an alumni Purple v. Gold match. Then, family and alumni will gather for a picnic. Alumni participation is $25 and includes a shirt and meal!

11:30 a.m. Golden (50th) Class Celebration- 1976
Irondequoit Country Club
Nazareth honors its golden anniversary class with a complimentary luncheon. All members of the Class of 1976 are invited to attend. Each alum is welcome to invite one guest to the celebration.
This event is free for the alum and one guest. Registration is required to reserve seating.
11:30 a.m. Diamond (60th) Class Celebration - 1966

All members of the Class of 1966 are invited to join together and celebrate their 60th reunion. Connect with your class planning committee for additional event details

Noon - 7 p.m. Naz Fest
Golisano Academic Center Lawn through Smyth Lawn
Join us for a vendor fair stretching throughout campus, and get in the Naz spirit with fun for all ages. There will be live music, inflatables, games, petting zoo, coffee bar and more! Find fresh food trucks and a cash bar. If you'd like to join us as a vendor, please fill out the vendor form; it is free to vend.
This is a pay as you go event. Be sure to bring cash for this event.
Noon - 5 p.m. Satellite Registration Open
Outside of Arts Center, across from Library
Entering through the South Campus drive? Stop by the satellite registration tent to grab your bracelet and head right to the vendors on the Smyth lawn! Swag and alumni nametags will be available under the main tent. Satellite Registration is only on Saturday, and closes at 5 p.m.
12:30 - 2 p.m. BIPOC Affinity Gathering
The Forum, Otto A. Shults Center
Join us for the BIPOC Affinity gathering. This event will offer an opportunity to connect for personal and professional development, mentorship, and affinity!

Join us for the LGBTQIA+ Affinity gathering. This event will offer an opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and community members. This event will be open mic style, celebrating the talents of our community. Read a poem, present a portion of a play, sing a song... we want to hear it all!

3 - 4:30 p.m. Shannon Lecture - Racial Solidarity, Catholic Identity, and the Challenge of White Christian Nationalism
Linehan Chapel
Fr. Bryan Massingale will present this Fall's Shannon Lecture. He is a Professor of Theology at Fordham University and known nationally and internationally for his academic scholarship, purpose-driven teaching, and advocacy for justice.. This year's theme is Centering Human Dignity, Harnessing the Forces of Love and Justice.
All are welcome to join. Space is limited, so arrive early.

“I approach the art of printmaking as an explorer in search of making a discovery. Abstract work for this exhibition was guided by the working concept of ‘conflicting systems’ with a sub-text of ‘searching for connections’ and develops its narrative through contrasts. The continuing dialogue that informs almost all my past and present work explores the distinction and overlap of our human experience as both ‘physical/biological and a thinking/emotional’ beings. My conceptual and working methods include contrasts of energy vs. stasis, fluid vs. solid, gestures vs. slow percussive movements and physicality vs perception. The resulting prints are the symbol of an interplay and balance between perception, reason and intuition.” -Kathleen Sherin

No member of our campus community should worry about having food or basic self-care items. In keeping with Nazareth’s spirit of community, please support our current students, faculty and staff by helping us fill our pantry. Consider bringing one or two nonperishable food items or hygiene products with you to be donated to our on-campus pantry. Collection bins will be located at registration throughout the weekend.
