Van Gorder Appointed New Veterans Enrollment Coordinator at Nazareth College

Nazareth College has named Chad Van Gorder the new veterans enrollment coordinator. He will serve as a liaison between incoming and current veteran student populations, as will also work closely with the Center for Student Success and the Admissions Office at the College.

Van Gorder proudly served as an Army Infantryman for over 20 years. During his time of service, he was appointed the rank of Operations Sergeant for 3rd Brigade Combat Team, and retired at the rank of First Sergeant in November 2014. As First Sergeant, Van Gorder had the responsibility of the management, welfare, training, and logistical support of over 250 soldiers. In addition, he was in charge of overseeing the Brigade Staff which was responsible for the operations and logistics of a 3,600 soldier unit.

Originally from Utica, N.Y., Van Gorder now resides in Fairport, N.Y. with his wife and his three daughters.
