New Marketing and Publicity Manager to Join Nazareth Arts Center

Published November 16, 2017

The Nazareth College Arts Center welcomes Michelle Inclema Shippers as its marketing and publicity manager. Shippers, a 2007 graduate of Nazareth, will play an integral role in developing and implementing strategies for the Arts Center's engagement, marketing, public relations, website content, and social media.

Most recently, Shippers was a communications manager for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO). In this role, she was the lead editor and project manager for in-house publications and served as a brand journalist to tell the stories of the RPO.

“Though I’ve worn many hats during my professional career, my key interest has always been writing about and promoting the arts in Rochester,” says Shippers. “I am so pleased to return to my alma mater and support the amazing programs of the Nazareth College Arts Center.”

After graduating from Nazareth with a major in Communication and Rhetoric and a minor in Theatre Arts, she has worked as a freelance writer, blogger, photographer, social media manager, newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and adjunct professor.
