Nazareth’s First Annual MLK Visual and Performing Arts Awards

Nazareth College will present the inaugural Martin Luther King Visual and Performing Arts Awards as part of the College’s MLK Day Celebrations on Monday, January 15, 2018. The award is open to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Nazareth, and there will be category winners in music, theatre/dance, and visual arts.

Participants are expected to compose, write, and/or create a new work with a social justice theme. The winner’s work will be presented on January 15 during the MLK Day celebration on the College’s campus. A stipend of $250 will be awarded in each category. The deadline for submitting a work is November 15, at 4 p.m. Award recipients will be announced on November 27.
