Published January 13, 2014

Nazareth College holds its annual celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2014, with a commemoration service in his honor. The commemoration service, a lively celebration of Dr. King’s legacy, will take place on campus from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Golisano Academic Center Linehan Chapel. This ceremony is free and open to the public. Undergraduate and graduate classes are suspended – and all administrative offices are closed – during this period so the campus community can gather together for this special event. The Nazareth College community will also be taking part in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Saturday, January 18, 2014 and Friday, January 24, 2014. Collaborating with other colleges and universities in the area, students will be serving the community at various sites throughout the city of Rochester.
