Nazareth College’s Institute for Pluralism and Center for Spirituality are pleased to welcome Kim and Reggie Harris for a folk and gospel performance on campus. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., the Harris’ hope to bring their African-American roots to Nazareth and sing of life, love, the quest for freedom, environment, and community. The performance will take place on Wednesday, January 28 at 7 p.m. in the Linehan Chapel of the Golisano Academic Center.

In its second year of involvement as a CGI University Network member with the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U), Nazareth College is sending eight students to CGI U 2015 at the University of Miami in early March. CGI U accepted seven of Nazareth students' Commitments to Action (project applications), up from six projects last year, ranging from economic development for women in Haiti to a smartphone application for youth mental health.

Earlier that day, Siegel is speaking at Nazareth College for a free and open to the public “Lunch and Learn” from 12:10 - 1:05 p.m. The event will be in the Nazareth College Arts Center Auditorium 14, in the lower level of the Arts Center at 4245 East Avenue. Guests should park in the Arts Center lot (entrance with traffic light off East Avenue in Pittsford).
Nazareth Earns Carnegie Foundation 2015 Community Engagement Classification
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has selected Nazareth College to receive the 2015 Community Engagement Classification.
