Dr. Samantha Nolte-Yupari, art education assistant professor and program director at Nazareth College, traveled to Washington, D.C., in April to receive the Arts and Learning National Dissertation Award from the American Education Research Association (AERA) at their annual business meeting.
The award is presented to a professional whose work represents the integrity, quality, depth of knowledge, style and significance of the field. Members of the AERA and Arts & Learning SIG submitted recently completed dissertations to be reviewed by selected chairpersons. The winners' work will be published in the Arts & Learning Journal.
