Nazareth College is hosting a Day of Hearing, in collaboration with the Rochester Chapter of The Hearing Loss Association of America and Lifespan, on October 7. The event will take place at the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute and will include presentations and free hearing screenings from 9 a.m.,to 4 p.m., as well as provide information about assistive devices. This event is free and open to the public. Nazareth College is located at 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, N.Y., 14618.

1-1:45 p.m.:Does Your Hearing Aid Fit? John McNamara, Ontario Hearing
2-2:45 p.m.: HOPE - Hearing Other People's Experiences, Joe Kozelsky, ret. Webster Hearing
3-3:45 p.m.:How to Help Your Audiologist Help You, Matt McDonald, Dalzells Hearing
Participating organizations include Dallzells Hearing Centers, Healthy Living with Hearing Loss, (HL2) Ontario Hearing Centers, Rochester Hearing and Speech Center, and Sounds for Life.
