Nazareth Inducts Third Class to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society
Nazareth College inducted its third class into the College's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline honor society. Eligible students and faculty were inducted during a
special ceremony in the College's Linehan Chapel on March 31st.
Undergraduate inductees are: Lindsey M. Arena, Margaret M. Beiter, Emily N. Borden, Leah E. Brown, Bailey T. Colomaio, Andrew T. Cross, Alexis Darbyshire, Katherine L. Fonte, Sarah A. Forney, Julianna M. Gatto, Noelle E. Hensler, Alexander LaPoint, Alexa R. Laubscher, Kathleen Marzano, Chad A. McDonald, Grace M. Muir, Jacob C. Murphy, Emily M. O'Sullivan, Madalyn J. In 2013 Nazareth College became the 320th chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, which was founded in 1897 at the University of Maine. The Society's mission is "to recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others." Membership in Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation only to the top 7.5 percent of juniors and the top 10 percent of seniors and
graduate students, along with faculty, professional staff, and alumni who have achieved scholarly
distinction.
