Four Nazareth experts represent at Virtual Interrupt Racism Summit in Rochester

Nazareth College was well represented at the Urban League of Rochester's 2020 Virtual Interrupt Racism Summit: "Unmasking and Dismantling Racism." More than 500 participants attended the two-day summit on October 20-21 that addressed issues of antiracism, inequity and social justice, and how to create positive change at a local and national level.

Nazareth had four of its experts present including:

Adjust Your Tone, Fix Your Face, and Other Unspoken DEI Rules.

Not All Allies Are Wanted: Deconstructing Allyship in Antiracist Work.
Presenters: Professor Shirley Sommers, School of Education, Director of Service
Learning; Assistant Professor Ana Gómez Parga, English and Communications; and
Vice President for Community and Belonging Lisa Durant-Jones

Interrupt Racism Summit features dozens of speakers covering over 36 topics
