Nazareth climbs in 2022 U.S. News Best Colleges rankings

Published September 14, 2021

The 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges guide has again ranked Nazareth College in the top tier of colleges and universities for Best Regional Universities-North, at No. 34, rising from No. 45 last year. Rankings are based on academic quality indicators such as graduation rates and faculty resources. The region covers 11 states and the District of Columbia.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2022 edition also gives Nazareth high marks in these categories:

Best College for Veterans - Regional Universities North #10 | Nazareth is among the top-ranked schools in the 2022 Best Colleges that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees.

Undergraduate Teaching - Regional Universities North #24

Nazareth is also included in regional rankings for being one of the Best Value Schools. Only schools ranked in or near the top half of their categories are included because U.S. News considers the most significant values to be among colleges that are above average academically. Nazareth’s nursing program is on the regional list for Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Programs. Nazareth also shows its strong commitment to helping economically disadvantaged students earn college degrees, and earned recognition on U.S. News & World Report’s list of Top Performers on Social Mobility.
