2022 Spring Dance Concert Returns to Nazareth College, April 1-2

The highly anticipated 2022 Spring Dance Concert returns to Nazareth College on Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2. Looking Back, Moving Forward take place at 7 p.m. both evenings in the Nazareth Arts Center Callahan Theater. The Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department will present choreographic works and performances from guest artists, dance department faculty, and Nazareth students. With more than 50 students involved, this event is the biggest concert of the academic year for the dance department.

The 2022 Spring Dance Concert: Looking Back, Moving Forward will feature work from the following artists:Jocelyn Anctil ‘22, Kelly Bottini ‘25, Madeline Dembowski ‘23 and Kayla Ringler ‘24, Alexandra Horgan ‘24, Mrs. Catherine Olson (Adjunct Professor of Dance/Guest Artist for Dance Ensemble), Mrs. Heather Roffe (Director of the Undergraduate Dance Program, Professor of Dance), Jennifer Roush ‘23, Mr. Yoshito Sakuraba (Guest Artist for Dance Ensemble), Lilly Thatcher ‘25, and Mrs. Allison Thomashefski (Adjunct Professor of Dance). The show features numerous dance majors, minors, and others with a passion for dance.

“We are very excited to be presenting the first live-audience dance concert since 2019, where dancers can also perform maskless," said Heather Roffe, director of the undergraduate dance program, professor, and faculty choreographer. "This is a very diverse show, between our student works, faculty works, and guest artists’ works from New York City. Please come support and see the show.”

TICKETS

Tickets for the Spring Dance Concert will be sold online (delivery charges may apply) and at the box office (beginning 90 minutes prior to showtime) on Friday, April 1st and Saturday, April 2nd in the Arts Center Lower Lobby. Cash only please. General seating tickets are $10 each.
