Nazareth welcomes Damika Arnold as its inaugural senior people officer. Arnold will lead campus-wide collaborative efforts to reimagine human resources and people-development functions at Nazareth. She started on October 31.

Previously, Arnold spent 19 years at the Xerox Corporation. She held a series of director positions in operations, program management, and human resources, leading to her promotion to global diversity and inclusion leader for Xerox.

Guided by her leadership, Xerox was repositioned as a global leader in the diversity space and received more than 20 National Diversity Excellence Awards, including White House recognition.

Arnold is excited to join the Nazareth community. She hopes to use her seasoned perspective and strategic vision to help propel the campus to new heights in the areas of process improvement, people support, and talent development.

"I was drawn to Nazareth because of its reputation for educational excellence, the institution's commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, community, and belonging, and the leadership's unwavering dedication to the students, faculty, and staff," said Arnold.

Arnold obtained her bachelor's degree in political science and international relations from William Jewell College, and her master's degree in organizational administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
