Nazareth ranks among the best in U.S News & World Report's 2022-23 Best Colleges

The 2022-2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges guide has again ranked Nazareth College in the top tier of colleges and universities for Best Regional Universities North, at No. 40. Rankings are based on academic quality indicators such as graduation rates and faculty resources. The region covers 11 states and the District of Columbia. 

U.S. News & World Report also gave Nazareth high marks in other categories:

  • Best College for Veterans: Nazareth is No. 16 among the top-ranked schools in Best Regional Universities North that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees.
  • Nazareth is also included in regional rankings at No. 36 as one of the Best Value Schools. U.S. News takes into account a school's academic quality and the net cost of attendance for an out-of-state student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the value.
  • For its strong commitment to helping economically disadvantaged students earn college degrees, Nazareth earned recognition among Top Performers on Social Mobility at No. 82.

Princeton Review's Best 388 Colleges for 2023

Nazareth College is proud to be on the list for the 15th consecutive year as one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education. 

Nazareth College is also No. 11 on the list for LGBTQ-friendly and No. 14 for great town-gown relations are great. Details: Princeton Review.

Washington Monthly College Guide

Nazareth College is No. 103 among more than 600 Best Master's Universities by the 2022 Washington Monthly College Guide and Rankings based on contributions to social mobility, research, and public service. Nazareth also made the list for the 2022 Best Bang for the Buck Rankings: Northeast — an exclusive list of schools ranked according to how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices — and 2022 Best Colleges for Student Voting. After  engagement efforts, Nazareth’s student voting rate climbed from 50.3% in 2016 to 71.5% in 2020; Nazareth was one of 230 colleges recognized, among 850 schools considered nationwide. 

Money's Best Colleges 2022

Money magazine named Nazareth to its list of Best Colleges 2022, highlighting the value of a Nazareth education. Money looked at more than 2,400 four-year colleges with sufficient data and above-average graduation rates and scored in three areas: quality, affordability and outcomes. Money’s Best Colleges 2022

Wall Street Journal | Times Higher Education College Ranking

The Wall Street Journal |Times Higher Education College Ranking 2022 gives Nazareth College high marks for civic engagement, ranking the College in the top half of 800 institutions nationally. The rankings are generated from four pillars, each of which represents a key area in teaching excellence: resources, engagement, outputs, and environment.

Nazareth is among a select group of top colleges and universities across the country hand-picked to earn a 2022-2023 Best Colleges of Distinction designation for its commitment to engaged, experiential education. Colleges of Distinction focuses on colleges like Nazareth that are committed to the undergraduate experience and deliver on four overarching distinctions — student engagement, teaching, community, and outcomes.
