Nazareth University is recognized as a top performer in five categories by U.S. News & World Report in 2024 Best College rankings

Nazareth University is a top performer in the U.S. News & World Report 2024 Best College rankings, earning recognition in five categories, including ranking in the top 50% of universities for Best Regional Universities North

Nazareth stands at No. 30 in regional rankings as one of the Best Value Schools. U.S. News takes into account a school's academic quality and the net cost of attendance for an out-of-state student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the value.

“Nazareth University prides itself on being accessible to all students, and this recognition from U.S. News & World Report is proof that our commitment is being noticed,” said Danielle Bucci, vice president for strategic enrollment, marketing and communications. “To consistently be on the list of Best Colleges, and move up in the rankings of Best Value Schools showcases that Nazareth truly has the quality education that students want while the University truly works with each family to make it affordable.”

U.S. News & World Report also gave Nazareth high marks in other categories:

Best College for Veterans: Nazareth is No. 23 among the top-ranked schools in Best Regional Universities North that participate in federal initiatives helping veterans and active-duty service members pay for their degrees.

Undergraduate Teaching: Nazareth is No. 31 among Regional Universities North for its strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. 

For its strong commitment to helping economically disadvantaged students earn college degrees, Nazareth earned recognition among Top Performers on Social Mobility at No. 103.

Princeton Review’s “Best 389 Colleges for 2024”

Nazareth is proud to be on the list for the 16th consecutive year as one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education according to The Princeton Review. Nazareth is featured in The Princeton Review’s annual guide The Best 389 Colleges: 2024 Edition. Nazareth University ranks #25 on The Best 389 Colleges list “Town-Gown Relations are Great.”

 

2023 Washington Monthly College Guide

Nazareth is No. 179 among more than 600 Best Master's Universities by the 2023 Washington Monthly College Guide and Rankings based on contributions to social mobility, research, and public service. Nazareth also made the list for the 2023 Best Bang for the Buck Rankings: Northeast — an exclusive list of schools ranked according to how well they help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices.

 

Money’s Best Colleges 2023

Money Magazine launched its 2023 America’s Best Colleges list with a brand new ratings system — and Nazareth is on the list with a strong rank of 3.5 stars. Money has moved from ranking the nation’s top colleges to now using a five-star rating system that sets Money’s list apart from other college lists. Money says “the new system recognizes that there are multiple ways for a school to provide value, and multiple ‘best’ colleges, depending on your goals and priorities.”

 

Wall Street Journal 2024 Best Colleges in America

Nazareth made the list of the Wall Street Journal/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranking that rates the top 400 universities in the country. Nazareth scored high marks in  how much the University enhances its students’ social mobility. The rankings also look at the overall student experience while attending, and the impact the school has on graduates’ salaries and how this relates to the cost of attendance. 

 

2023-24 College of Distinction
