Yes. Many students get GA positions in the department or elsewhere at Nazareth. Click for information about graduate assistantships.

When should I apply?

Click for the DPT application instructions.

Be sure your application is complete and "verified" by PTCAS to be included in the first round of reviews and decisions. The program typically has a small number of openings and hundreds of applicants.

Is an interview required for admission?

Yes, but meeting the basic requirements does not guarantee an interview or admission. The program typically has a small number of openings and hundreds of applicants.

Qualified applicants who are selected for an interview will be notified via phone or email. On-site interviews are highly recommended, but phone interviews are also available.

How does Nazareth decide whom to admit?

We look at rigor of coursework taken, cumulative GPA (minimum: 3.0) and particularly grades in prerequisite science courses, recommendations, applicant statement, and interview.

Can I get a status update on my application?

The Office of Graduate Admissions will notify applicants once decisions are made.
