Auditions and Portfolio Reviews

Music, Theatre & Dance: All applicants must audition or show a portfolio, to be considered for admission and scholarships. Non-majors who’d like to minor or perform in a College ensemble and compete for a non-major scholarship also must complete an audition or review.

Art & Design (NEW 2023-24): All applicants for art education, studio art, design or visual communication & design can complete a portfolio review for scholarship, but it is not required for admission with the exception of transfer students who still require a portfolio review.

Music Auditions

8:30 a.m.–Noon

Register for your audition and submit the required materials for majors/minors in music, music/business, music composition, music education, music performance, and music therapy. How to submit music material & what to expect.

Art Portfolio Reviews

9:30–11 a.m.

Register for your portfolio review and prepare portfolio material for majors/minors in art education, design, studio art, or visual communication design. How to submit art or design material & what to expect.

Musical Theatre Auditions

Nazareth is a participant in the Musical Theater Common Pre Screen for the 2023–24 cycle. All prescreen videos should be uploaded to Nazareth’s Acceptd account by January 15. Nazareth will reach out to schedule an audition and interview if you pass your Pre Screen. Musical Theatre prescreen & audition details.
