Mary Jeanne Hodson Nork ’56, Eng., had several poems published in the winter 2014 issue of The Wildcat Review. She and her husband Bill have lived in Reno, Nevada, for the past 43 years, and she has been writing for most of them.
Mary Rappazzo Hall ’63, Bio., recently received the designation of Master from the American College of Physicians, an award noting outstanding achievement in internal medicine. Hall also recently returned from a medical mission to Guatemala, where she not only tended to medical needs but also assisted in building gardens in order to combat malnutrition.
Catherine Messinger Russell ’70, Math, and Carol Pender Sinwell ’70, Art Ed., and their husbands enjoyed a Caribbean cruise during Thanksgiving week 2014.
Joyce Tuck DeWitt ’75, Music, recently retired from her position as organist at South Perinton United Methodist in Fairport, N.Y., after 35 years. The church named her Organist Emeritus, and the church community threw her an 80th birthday party in May 2014.
Todd McNutt ’93, Bus. Admin., has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Rose & Kiernan, Inc., a general insurance agency in East Greenbush, N.Y.
Frank Scialdone ’94, Eng., was recently named one of Ohio’s two 2015 Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers magazine. This distinction is based on multiple criteria: professional achievement and peer recognition, honors and awards, firm and bar involvement and leadership, scholarship and professional writings, community service and pro bono activities, and other outstanding achievements. Only five percent of Ohio lawyers receive this award each year.
Thomas Caprio ’96, Bio. Chem., has been selected as a Rochester Business Journal 2015 Health Care Achievement Award recipient. The award recognizes individuals and groups whose contributions to health care have been deemed outstanding by their colleagues, patients, and supervisors. Caprio is currently the medical director of Visiting Nurse Service and an associate professor of medicine/geriatrics and a physician at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Matthew Mooney ’98, Theatre Arts, served as director for his theatre company’s early 2015 productions of Spring Awakening, Love, Sex, and the I.R.S., and Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know. He also headlined the cabaret My Life on Stage at the Grange Theatre in April 2015. Mooney started his own theatre company, Buffalo Chrysalis Theatre Company, in October 2014.
David Johnson ’99, Bus. Admin., graduated in December 2014 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in nursing. He also recently began working as an organ donation coordinator for Carolina Donor Services, a company serving 77 counties in North Carolina and Virginia.
Christopher Parmeter ’01, Math., Econ., has co-authored Applied Nonparametric Econometrics, published in January 2015. After Nazareth, Parmeter earned a doctorate in economics and is now an associate professor of economics at the University of Miami in Florida.
Thomas A. Erb ’03, ’05G, Art Ed., published his debut novel, Heaven, Hell, or Houston: A Zombie Thriller, through Severed Press in January 2015.

Danielle Lindner ’07, Psych., earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Central Florida in August 2014. She is now an assistant professor of psychology at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.

Sherry VanCamp Todd ’08, Psych., earned an M.S. in psychology with a specialization in addictions from Kaplan University in January 2014. She also obtained a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) trainee certification in October 2014.

Jamie Doyle ’10, Chem., is now a postdoctoral researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
