Code of ethics

Nazareth's marketing and communications team works closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that the information we release to the public is accurate and informative. Several members of the marketing team are longstanding members of the Public Relations Society of America and the American Marketing Association, the leading professional societies for public relations and marketing practitioners. Both organizations have codes of ethics for practitioners on which we base our practices. The codes offer principles of core values for advocacy, honesty, loyalty, professional development, and objectivity, fostering ethical practice and interaction with clients, coworkers, and the public.

The marketing and communications team believes in practicing no harmful actions or omissions. We focus on building trust and embracing ethical values. We recognize that there are consequences to our marketing decisions and strategies that affect the internal and external Nazareth community. As a team, we strive for excellence each and every day.
