S.O.A.R. (Student Orientation for Achievement and Readiness) is a brand new program where excitement meets preparation and confidence takes flight. Designed to help students feel grounded, connected, and ready for what’s ahead, S.O.A.R. blends community-building, academic guidance, and campus exploration into a one-day high-energy experience.

Summer Start

Incoming freshmen accepted into the HEOP or Young Scholars programs will join a four-week on-campus experience focused on academic preparation, personal growth, and building meaningful connections before the fall semester begins. You’ll sharpen your skills, get to know campus, and form relationships with peers, faculty, and staff who are here to support you from day one.

This selective summer bridge program is designed to help students interested in health and science pathways start their Nazareth journey with confidence.

Supported through Nazareth University’s Title III grant, the program is especially designed for students admitted through Open Path Health and select Nursing, Physical Therapy (PT), or Occupational Therapy (OT) students.

First to Fly

A student is identified as a first-generation college student if neither parent/guardian earned a bachelor's degree. Being the first member of your family to attend college is a big accomplishment and an exciting challenge.
