Your Student Orientation for Achievement and Readiness (S.O.A.R.) session is where your Nazareth experience really begins.
This one-day experience for all incoming first-year and transfer students is your chance to come to campus before August and start truly feeling like a Naz student.
You’ll pick up your ID*, get a sneak peek at your fall class schedule*, connect with Financial Aid and Student Accessibility Services, and meet other students in your major or who are still exploring. It’s equal parts getting things done and getting excited.
You’ll ask questions, meet people, and start building your place here — so when August move-in and the start of classes comes around, you’re not walking in lost, you’re walking in ready. Breakout sessions will include belonging, study abroad, commuting, residential life, making connections and finding purpose in your first year.
Families and supporters have their own sessions, too, focused on how to best support you during this transition and what to expect in the months ahead.
S.O.A.R. is your first official step toward feeling confident, connected, and ready to go.
