Published September 09, 2015

U.S. News & World Report has again ranked Nazareth College in the top tier of colleges and universities in the category of Best Regional Universities-North in its 2016 edition of U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges. Nazareth climbed two spots from last year and is ranked 29th in the Best Regional Universities-North (guide ranks by region) which covers 11 states and the District of Columbia.  Nazareth College also made the guide’s list for A+ Schools for B Students, where top quality institutions look for more than just grades on applications, and 2016 Best Colleges for Veterans where Nazareth is ranked 23rd in the regional universities-North category.

The 2016 edition of the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges book is now available online. Most of the rankings will also appear in the Best Colleges 2016 guidebook, which can be pre-ordered at www.usnews.com/collegeguide and will be available for sale via Amazon, Barnes & Noble and other retail outlets later this month.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges package represents the most comprehensive look at how more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools compare on a set of 15 widely accepted indicators of excellence. Among the many factors weighed in determining the rankings, the key measures of quality are: peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, alumni giving, and graduation rate performance (National Universities and Liberal Art Colleges).
