Nazareth College Music Department to present The Romantic the Macabre, and the Glorious on Saturday, November 5

The Nazareth College Symphony (Nancy Strelau, conductor) joined by the Nazareth College Chamber Singers (Mark Zeigler, conductor) will present The Romantic, the Macabre, and the Glorious on Saturday, November 5, at 4 p.m. in the Linehan Chapel at Nazareth College.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The program is the Nazareth College Symphony Orchestra’s first program of the season, and will feature two assistant conductors who are former Nazareth College conducting students. Nazareth College voice faculty Katie Hannigan, Kim Upcraft-Russ, Josh Boullion, and Mario Martinez will also perform.

  • Magnificat in D by J.S. Bach (30’): Nancy Strelau, conductor
  • Danse Macabre by Saint-Saens (9’): Evan Mecarello, conductor
