Arts Center Series continues with interactive Beatles music concert and a dance work for families

Published February 20, 2020

The Nazareth College Arts Center touring series continues in March with an all-request Beatles music concert experience and a dance work for families based on a New York Times best-selling book!

Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience
Saturday, March 7 at 8 p.m. in Callahan Theater

In a veritable sea of Beatles tribute acts, Yesterday and Today stands apart. Doing away with the floppy wigs, costumes, and fake accents, brother musicians Billy, Matthew, and Ryan McGuigan and their band concentrate on recreating the energy and spirit of the world's most popular band. Its unique all-request format is as much a tribute to fans as it is to The Beatles themselves. Prior to each show and during intermission, audience members write down song requests and share their personal connection to the song which drives the concert. No two shows are ever the same!

The McGuigan brothers started the show as a tribute to their late father who loved The Beatles and introduced his children to the band. The McGuigan brothers tour the country with Yesterday and Today to create the ultimate living tribute to their father. The most surprising element of the show is the heart and personal connection that comes through each and every song. Together, the McGuigan brothers have created something that reminds audiences of the importance of family and the connection that music provides in everyone's lives. Sponsored in part by Dr. Dawn Lipson. Tickets: $25-$50
