Teaching and Learning Technologies offers trainings and workshops throughout the semester for faculty and staff on a variety of instructional technologies available, here at Naz. Whether you are new to Moodle or need a refresher, join TLT for this virtual walkthrough on some of the Moodle basics to get set up for Spring! This demonstration will orientate you to the course navigation and layout, activities & resources, grades, and managing participants.

Need a quiet space to roll up your sleeves and build your course in Moodle? As your “technical guide at your side”, TLT will address your questions, provide a review of course setup, show you how to add resources and activities, and demonstrate ways to manage communications with your students.

Learn how to set up your Moodle gradebook with TLT! During this demonstration, we will show you how to set up activities as grade items, leaving annotated feedback for assignments, and exploring grade aggregation options.

Open Educational Resources provide quality course content to students at low or no cost. This half hour discussion will present the benefits of using OER as well as address common concerns, with time for a group discussion at the end. All levels of OER use are welcome - share your experience in using OER, or simply hear out why you might consider switching your course content to OER.

As a follow up to Nazareth's Spring 2025 Assembly Day: AI in Action (1/15/25), TLT offers three panel sessions for faculty and staff to come together and talk about AI topics more deeply. Each session will address a unique topic and feature a different group of panelists. The goal of these sessions is to offer a collegial space where all participants feel free to share and learn diverse outlooks, ask questions, propose ideas, exchange lessons learned, and discuss concerns and considerations involving AI in higher education. Those who sign up for these sessions will be given the option on the registration form to submit questions they would like the panelists to address related to the session's topic.
