Clinic Wait List

If you are interested in pursuing services with us, please give us a call at 585-389-2772.

The Hearing Clinic provides diagnostic testing for hearing loss for children, teens, and adults.

Potential Clients

Children, teens, and adults experiencing difficulties hearing or who wish to learn more about their hearing may benefit from hearing testing. We do not provide evaluations for central auditory processing disorder.

Session Schedule

Testing is available during Nazareth's fall and spring semesters.

Schedules are typically filled by the start of each semester. If the schedule is full, you can be put on a waiting list for a future semester.

Basic hearing test: one- to two-hour test session includes an intake interview, testing, and a counseling session about the test results. A detailed report, including recommendations, is provided.

Student Clinicians

Services are provided by graduate students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department under direct supervision by a faculty member holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and the New York State License in Audiology.

Eligibility and Fees

Individuals are considered for admission to our clinic following an evaluation and determination of eligibility based on multiple factors and criteria. The clinics are free of charge. Donations are accepted.

Location

The hearing clinic is on the Nazareth campus in the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute. The clinic space is accessible to people with disabilities.

Clinic parking spaces are located in front of the York Institute building and in G Lot at the end of the building. You will receive a parking pass before you begin therapy or at your first session.
