The Neurological Clinic evaluates and treats people whose function has been impacted by neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, strokes, traumatic brain injury, or spinal cord injuries.
Potential Clients
This clinic provides OT services for pediatric and adult clients who meet the criteria described above.
Session Schedule
The clinic offers 50-minute individual and group sessions for 8-10 weeks on Mondays during Nazareth University's fall semester.
Student Clinicians
Therapy services are provided by students in the master’s of occupational therapy professional program under the direct supervision of licensed occupational therapist faculty, according to the standards of the New York State Office of the Professions.
Referrals
Referrals for this clinic are received from other clinicians and clients, social workers, and health care providers.
All clients need a prescription from their health care provider.
Eligibility and Fees
The clinic is offered to clients who meet the criteria for treatment and who provide a current prescription from their health care provider. Services are available to anyone, insured or not. Donations are appreciated.
Parking passes are provided for parking spaces directly in front of the clinic entrance at the YWRI building.
Parking
Clinic parking spaces are located in front of the York Institute building and in G Lot at the end of the building. You will receive a parking pass before you begin therapy or at your first session. Please make sure it's visible on your dashboard while you're parked on campus. If you receive a parking ticket, let your clinic supervisor know.
