Physical Therapy Orthopedic Clinic

Supervised physical therapy graduate students evaluate, treat, and educate patients to improve or restore movement and function and to reduce pain.

Potential Clients

The clinic treats clients of all ages. Student clinicians provide evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal conditions such as tendonitis, patellofemoral pain syndrome, low back and neck pain, muscle strain, ankle sprains, and carpal tunnel. Interventions are individually designed to promote maximum function.

Session Schedule

The clinic offers sessions once per week during Nazareth's fall and spring semesters. Clinicians also provide clients with home exercise plans to further physical improvement while not in therapy.

Student Clinicians

Therapy services are provided by students in the doctor of physical therapy professional program under the supervision of licensed physical therapist faculty, according to the standards of the New York State Office of the Professions.

Referrals

Clients are referred to the clinic from many sources, including other clinics and clients, case managers, physicians, and social workers. Please check with the physical therapy clinic office regarding the need for physician referral.
