Caregiver Services

The Social Work Department offers services specially designed for caregivers that include individual counseling, presentations and support groups.

Potential Clients

Individuals who are caregivers for clients receiving services at York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute, as well as caregivers from the community.

Session Schedule

One-time or weekly sessions, as needed, during the fall and spring semesters.

Student Clinicians

Counseling, presentations, and support groups are provided by student clinicians supervised by social work faculty licensed by the state of New York Office of the Professions.

Fees

Services are offered at low or no cost.

Location

Caregiver services are offered at the York Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute on the Nazareth campus.

Parking

Clinic parking spaces are located in front of the York Institute building and in G Lot at the end of the building. You will receive a parking pass before you begin therapy or at your first session. Please make sure it's visible on your dashboard while you're parked on campus. If you receive a parking ticket, let your clinic supervisor know.
