Academic Recovery Program (ARP)

ARP is additional support program to provide individualized support for students on academic probation through a holistic case management approach. The goal is to empower students to achieve academic success and personal growth by offering tailored interventions, resources, and guidance that promote effective learning strategies, mental health support, and proactive involvement in the academic community.

If a student is placed on Academic Probation by the Academic Standing Committee based on the University's academic standing policy, they will be enrolled in the Academic Recovery Program (ARP). Upon entering, they will be assigned a case manager (Academic Performance Mentor) who will help set goals and create an action plan to help them remain accountable and work toward academic success.

Suggested resources for students to include in their action plan are:

  • Academic Success Coaching
  • ACS 200: Advanced Academic Strategies course (1 credit)
  • Tutoring/Learning Labs
  • Health and Counseling Recommendations
  • Social Coaching
  • Center for Spirituality

Students not on academic probation who are looking to improve their academic performance should consider Academic Success Coaching and ACS 200.
