Tutoring, Learning Labs and Other Resources

Our services, including tutoring and learning support, are all free to any undergraduate or graduate student at Nazareth.

We can help reinforce course content and strengthen study skills, memorization techniques, note-taking skills, and methods to stay organized. All of our tutors are qualified, trained students who have been recommended by instructors.

Format: Tutoring services are available mostly in-person. There may be some opportunity for online tutoring through Zoom meetings.

For tutoring, please use the link in the gold "request a tutor" box on this page.

For other learning centers, see the centers' websites and contact information below.

Tutoring is ideal for any student looking to increase your grade in a particular course or to maintain the grades you are proud of. Tutors specialize in assisting students in developing the understanding for concepts and successful methods to complete a course. Tutoring is most effective when used consistently throughout the semester.

Campus Learning Labs

Learning Labs for small groups

Courses deemed difficult or for which four or more students request a tutor have Learning Labs with set hours each week. Learning Labs focus on small group success.

The Learning Lab model allows us to provide support to a greater number of students and allows students an opportunity to learn from each other.

Students are encouraged to approach Learning Labs the same as they would individual tutoring by coming prepared and by establishing points of concern and questions with their tutor prior to their meeting. You can request a specific time slot during these set hours with a Learning Lab tutor.
