Admission Requirements for International Students

Step 1: Complete application for admission

Apply online. Please make sure that all information is completed, including all required signatures.

Step 2: Send us your official transcript(s)

Request an international credential evaluation from SpanTran (recommended service) or any evaluation service verified by NACES (required). Minimum grade point average (GPA): 3.0

Important: When applying for your credential evaluation, you must request that the evaluation be sent directly from the credential evaluator to Nazareth University. The evaluation service will also require that your school or university send the documents directly to the evaluator and will not accept official or unofficial documents sent by you (the student). 

  • Graduate Applicants should request course-by-course evaluation

Requesting an official credential evaluation is done at the expense of the applicant.

Step 3: Submit original English proficiency exam scores

Minimum scores required:

Nazareth's Institution Code for TOEFL: 2511

Step 4: Submit declaration of finances form and bank statements

  • On the form, you indicate finances available to cover your expenses.
  • Form is needed to issue an I-20 (required to obtain student visa).
  • Download the Declaration of Finances form.

International Admissions Filing Dates

Preferred Application Deadlines

April 1 (fall), September 1 (spring)

After these dates, applications will be considered for programs that have space available.

Exceptions: Creative arts therapy: art therapy specialization, higher education student affairs administration, music education, creative arts therapy: music therapy specialization, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology have different deadlines.
