Pay your enrollment deposit

REQUIRED. You can mail a check to the Admissions Office, 4245 East Ave., Rochester, NY 14618. Or pay online using a bank account transfer via your personalized applicant dashboard:

Pay deposit

After deposit: Watch for MyNaz account info

Within 48 hours after paying your deposit, you'll get an email from Nazareth's Information Technology Services with the subject "Your NEW Nazareth MyNaz Account Activation." Use that unique activation link to activate your MyNaz account — needed for access to MyHousing, NazNet Self-Service, the NazApp, Handshake (jobs on and off campus), and tools you'll use once classes start, such as Moodle, BlackBoard / MyAccounts, and Qualtrics.

With MyNaz: Take your next steps

You can use your applicant dashboard to check your status and get to each of these links to take action:

  • Submit health and immunization records (REQUIRED of all students to start classes, by New York State law). Use your MyNaz credentials to log into the Naz Student Health Portal and upload a copy of your immunization record, meningitis vaccine proof (or sign the meningitis waiver if you haven't received the vaccine within the last 5 years), and enter your health history information. Questions? Contact Health Services, or 585-389-2500.
  • Fill out your housing application. Preference is based on your deposit date. Your housing assignment won't be finalized until you submit your health forms. Living on campus is required for your first two years unless you're living with a parent or guardian within a 30-mile radius of campus. Use your MyNaz credentials to complete your online housing (and meal plan) application.

Fall 2018 courses

  • Incoming freshmen: REQUIRED. Information about what details to have handy and the link to the Course Selection Survey are now available. By May 18, fill out your course selection survey to help us build your schedule. Mid-July, when your fall schedule is complete, you will receive a postcard with a link to view it online.
  • Incoming transfer students: Shortly after paying your enrollment deposit, you will be invited to a new transfer advisement and registration session, coordinated by Nazareth's Academic Advisement Center. At the session, you will meet with a faculty advisor from your major program to register for your fall classes.

NazID, parking permit, and security alarm (By mid-July)

In early June, Campus Safety mails to your home address instructions about how to get your NazID (the identification card required for all students), a parking permit (if you'll have a car on campus), and a security escort alarm. Reply by July 15 for the items to be mailed to you in early August.

Final high school transcript

Required. Make sure your school (high school if you're entering Nazareth as a freshman, or college if you're transferring to Nazareth) sends to Nazareth Admissions your final transcript — either through the Common App system or via fax to 585-389-2826.

Dive in to summer reading [July]

REQUIRED (Freshmen). In early July, a message to your Naz email will provide a summer reading assignment. Complete it before Aug. 23, so you can discuss the reading in your first Academic and College Success class, during orientation. Questions? Contact Andy Morris,

Don't worry if you're undeclared [Anytime]

If you haven't declared a major, you will get help through our GEM: Guided Exploration of Majors program. If you have questions, contact Cara Capparelli, lead academic counselor for undeclared student success, or 585-389-2870.

Find a campus job [August]

Will you be looking for a part-time or work-study job? Career Services has the scoop on working on campus, hiring procedures, eligibility, and more. Most Naz work study jobs are posted online in August, but new jobs will continue to be added as they become available. You can sort them by post date to see the newest ones using your Handshake account.
