Incoming Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Nazareth!

Entering Naz in January 2019?

Your checklist, with links, will be emailed to your Nazareth email address.

Entering Naz in August 2019?

Step 1

Use your personal email (used on your application) and date of birth to log in to your applicant dashboard to:

  • pay your deposit to secure your spot in the incoming class (deposit date also is used for housing assignment priority)
  • see your personalized list of tasks to complete
  • monitor your progress completing them

Your dashboard

Step 2

Activate your MyNaz credentials: Within 48 hours after paying your deposit, look for an email from Nazareth's Information Technology Services with the subject "Your NEW Nazareth MyNaz Account Activation."

Use that unique activation link to activate your MyNaz account — needed for access to MyHousing, NazNet Self-Service, the NazApp, Handshake (jobs on and off campus), and tools you'll use once classes start.

Take your next steps

Use your applicant dashboard (log in with the personal email address you used to apply to Nazareth) to check your status on required steps and select the dashboard's links to take action. Those steps require your myNaz credentials. Among the required actions:

  • Submit health and immunization records.
  • Fill out your college housing application.
  • Enroll in fall courses.
    • Incoming freshmen students: Fill out your course selection survey online in May.
    • Incoming transfer students: Shortly after paying your enrollment deposit, you will be invited to a new transfer advisement and registration session, coordinated by Nazareth's Academic Advisement Center. At the session, you will meet with a faculty advisor from your major program to register for your fall classes.
  • Get your NazID, parking permit (if you'll have a car on campus), and security escort alarm.
    • Incoming freshmen students: You'll get an email in June about getting these from Campus Safety.
    • Incoming transfer students: Stop by Campus Safety.
  • Transcript:
    • Incoming freshmen students: Make sure your final high school transcript is sent to Nazareth College Admissions (through the Common App system or via fax to 585-389-2826), and request college transcripts if you earned dual credits.
    • Incoming transfer students: Request your final college transcripts and send them to Nazareth College Transfer Admissions.
  • In August, most fall campus jobs are posted on Handshake. Jobs are posted year-round. See working on campus.
