Blue Light Service
These courtesy phones throughout campus that have a blue light bulb on top provide a direct connection to the 24-hour Campus Safety dispatcher located at the Campus Safety office.
How to use a blue light phone
Open the box and push the red “emergency” button. This will activate the speaker phone and call directly to the Campus Safety dispatcher.
When to use a blue light phone
Blue light phones may be used any time you need to contact Campus Safety, not just emergencies. Simply press the button.
